DVD Review: 'Steven Universe:' The Complete Collection

Merry Christmas, everyone! Christmas Day may be over, but the season isn't. As I wished for, I received the Steven Universe complete collection DVD set from my parents Santa Claus. And boy is it pure gorgeous eye candy! There's a lot to look at here, so sit back, relax, and read along with me.

The top image is of course the box cover, and it pops with the rainbows. The art is an image of the Gem Temple and beach house from the show.

The sides of the box also contain great art and rainbow effects.

The back shows the rest of Beach City and a description as well as the logos for the show, movie, and epilogue series.

The top of the box shows the spine of the storybook that has all the DVDs.

The underside of the box has copyright and video and audio info. It looks very similar to what the previous single season DVDs have.

When I remove the book, all that's left is the empty inside of the box. Stare into the void.

The book itself is just the full view of the box art. Here's the front...

...and here's the back.

Looking at the book from above, we can see some of the discs popping out of the pages. There are 15 discs in all.

Now we get into the meat and potatoes of this set. When opening the book, we can see a pattern of yellow stars representing Steven and flowers that represent two other characters that I won't spoil.

The next two pages contains the art and disc for season one part one. The scene is from the first episode "Gem Glow."

Art and disc for season one part two. This is a scene from "Ocean Gem."

Art and disc for season one part three. Scene is from "Jailbreak."

Art and disc for season two part one. Scene is from "Sworn to the Sword."

Art and disc for season two part two. Scene is from "Gem Drill" and the episodes leading up to it.

Art and disc from season three part one. Scene is from "Mr. Greg."

Art and disc from season three part two. Scene is from "Earthlings" I believe.

Art and disc for season four part one. Scene is from "Steven's Dream."

Art and disc for season four part two. Scene is from "Storm in the Room."

Art and disc for season five part one. Scene is from "Jungle Moon."

Art and disc from season five part two. Scene is from "Legs from Here to Homeworld."

Art and disc from Steven Universe: The Movie. Scene is Spinel's garden.

Art and disc from Steven Universe Future part one. Scene is from "Little Homeschool."

Art and disc from Steven Universe Future part two. Scene is from "The Future."

Art and disc for bonus material. Scene is presumably the writers' room at Cartoon Network Studios.

And here is the last page with the same pattern from the beginning.

What an amazing set, wouldn't you agree? Now that I officially own all of Steven Universe, I hope to review the series some day. Merry Christmas again to you all, and see you in 2021!
